? Pan Fried Dorchester Rib – Are you Hungry? Just for fun LOL!!

My butcher asked me to make a video of my other hobby, cooking Rib Steaks! Just for fun guys 🙂 This is sometimes called a Dorchester Rib and is often cooked as a joint with multiple ribs. In the USA, they often call this one a “Tomahawk Steak”. You will need a meat thermometer. Warm it up to around 80 degrees (F) in the oven and pan fry the rest of the way on a high heat to about 120 F (rare) and then leave in tinfoil for 10-15 minutes. I seal mine up-front on a medium pan heat before oven. Alternatively, let the meat get up to room temperature. The thicker the steak, the more pre-heat you may need. Oh, and that smaller Fillet Steak? It’s Wendy’s! Just for fun! Callum.
