How to enjoy a family holiday and still make contacts on ham radio

Recorded 20th August 2020.

Second part of the holiday in Wales where I set up ham radio. Managed to try out a few amateur radio antenna types (dipole, random wire, 1/4 wave vertical) and get a few contacts. I must say hanging the dipole out of the window was good, surprisingly the antenna on the beach was not good. I had looked forward to radio on the beach again this year but weather and location was the bit I have little control over.

I would be very grateful if you could make a small donation to my paypal account, this helps me keep the channel running, many thanks
