How to set your HAM radio up to RECEIVE and DECODE Wefax

There is so much to do in this hobby, from DX contacts, contests, local chatting etc. There is also the ability to receive and decode transmissions on the HF bands, one such transmission is wefax which is old technology compared to what we have now, but equally fascinating to the radio hobbyist.

To improve my reception I had to rig up a longer wire to improve signals from below 40m which you can see in the video. I aimed to get the wire working for 80m so not only will it improve the Wefax reception but give me a chance to work 80m.

A great resource is this website : http://m0taz.co.uk/2018/01/receiving-hf-weather-fax/
