Overnight HAM radio SSB FIELD TEST of the Clansman PRC-320 military radio

Radios used:

Yaesu FT-897D
Clansman PRC-320

Spent an evening working from the Peak District using the famous ex-military British radio the Clansman 320. The location provided low background noise and great take off. Working from this location during the night time is very interesting as you can experience the shift in the day/night propagation (greyline).

Equipment used:

Clansman 320
Yaesu FT-897D
Yeasu FT-817ND (2m)
Sotabeams linked dipole
DX Commander 7m pole
Power supply was the Sharman multicom
